The Humane League NYC Gala
We were lucky enough to attend The Humane League NYC Gala on Saturday. Our little bags were auctioned at the event and we were so happy to get the chance to donate to them for this cause.
Protecting farm animals from unnecessary suffering is at the heart of their mission. They work to reduce farm animals suffering through public education and corporate campaigns. Their campaigns with schools, retailers and corporations have won policy changes that spare millions of farm animal every year from the most cruel forms of confinement. They are also reaching millions of young people through their educational outreach to help reduce meat consumption. They are always focused on their impact and on how they can help the largest number of animals with each dollar in their budget. As a result, they are the only charity to have been listed as a top charity by Animal Charity Evaluators for 3 years in a row.
